Understanding the needs of the organization and the individuals that may receive the program is critical for the success of any training program. To provide the most effective assessment and reporting, Bob will:

  • Assess the needs of the organization:
    • What are the business results we are trying to achieve?
    • Why is training necessary?
    • What outcomes need to be achieved and what solutions may already be in mind?
    • How do the possible training options tie to the stated objectives?
  • Discuss with a sampling of the individuals that may receive the program what they believe will help them excel.

  • Provide a report to the organization that outlines:

Needs

Development Needs Expressed By Individuals that Will Receive the Training

Recommendations:

     Is training the
       answer?
           If not, what?
           If so, how?
